one way to solme MY problem with "reserving" clip was,after ome week of troubles,this: in one car-clio 2006,when i start clip,appear error on sonde,repluged and still error,i put the clip without taken the usb cable on a Laguna 2000 and the program starts ok,after that i tryed again on clio,it worked fine,so now,after 3 more cars and the same problem,when my clip refuse to start,i plug the usb cable and the obd cable to a blank obd2 connector with only the plus and minus wires,and the clip starts EVERY time. What can be the answer?
and now,after that,i did not shut down the laptop any more, i unplug the usb cable and when i must use clip,i plug it and works every time...

Seems to me that you have a problem with voltage regulator circuit in your CLIP. That is common problem with cloned chinese CLIPs. Often this problem is combined with bad soldering, poor cabling and contact points.

This problem is likely to occur if yor tested vehicle have a bad battery, or vehicle with bad ground connection on battery (connection between minus pole on battery and vehicle chassis, that is also common failure on Renaults), try testing CLIP on vehicle with fully charged battery, or on vehicle connected on battery charger.

Hallo to all
I have one question. I have two bad can clip tools RTL2002 with the same problem, green led ISO lightening not. ON iso board its not 3.3V for AN2135SC. Voltage regulator its ok, 5V input ok, gnd ok, but on/off voltage 5V from processor missing. When i put 5V on pin3 voltage regulators wake up and made 3.3V for AN2135SC. then i conect clip to computer, led iso lightening and software stop on 20% firmware upgrade and its ower. I reed all in this forum and moore but no psitive results. Its hier anybody dare can help? Pleas, pleas. Thank to all for help.

ok me i have the led iso don t light i chek is no supply at cypress ic on iso card i imput 3.3v in ic take at cypress ic in can card and no my computer find the probe
but when i start can clip is want update the firmwar
have you a solution or old can clip soft for test

I have a problem with my clip, canot install drivers. I have only 2 red lights on. I tried to connect to car and usb and nothing.
checked all voltage and are OK, I have 3.3v on cypress ic but canot install drivers ....

try this: connect clip to car, turn ignition on
then connect usb clip to PC then run clip soft
works like this for me vith V106 and clone clip

Hi,
I have exactly the same problem as Ziko
I have had 2 different versions of clip on 2 laptops.
each time I swapped laptop ( and version ) it would update firmware.
I suspect this is how my problem occured.
May be totaly wrong.

Any more progress on this?

I run the tool. bat and I have resolved the firmware update. but now I expect the cypress and ISO and can. Total 3 drivers and says it is installed. I open the software and try clio with a multiplex network. the bar is not moving. put Out the interface and the bar starts to move ... as if it were attacked ... What can it be? consider that where there was an asus win7 on which I installed xp. regard's to all!
