Fiat 500 Blue&ME Convergence Telematics Module

Hello to everyone,

I've just diagnosed the car (Fiat 500) with faulty blue&me module which it was draining the battery while the car is sitting of stand by. So when I checked with the diagnostic tool too, it has not any communication with car and the usb doesn't work.

Because of its high cost I'm not gonna replace it but if I remove from the car can I have any issues except of the flashing of the mileage from dashboard ? Like damaging any other component because of its missing ?

can be removed.only some buttons on the steering wheel will not work and the mileage will flash.and there will be no bluetooth
