What are the remote issues with these boxes?

I'm curious about the remote issues noted in certain area's of this forum. I have noticed that my remote is a fair bit slower than any other box I have used. Is this down to the issues previously stated or is this the norm?

I don't have any problems using the remote at a distance, it just isn't as snappy as other boxes are. I don't know anyone with a DM800 to compare but I have tried a DM600 and it is quite a bit faster. I'm not waiting seconds or anything but there is a noticeable delay between pressing something and it actually happening.

What are the fixes available now? Previously a different image was suggested, is this still the case?

ive never had issues with my remote dm800
