VW Touareg 2017 add key

Guys, can VVDI2 or Lonsdor add a key to VW touareg from 2017? Or only the dealer remains, is it possible?

Touareg 2017 it's IMMO5 with encrypted BCM2, Poldiag will work on this, i don't know if also Vvdi2+VvdiProg+BCM2 kit support Touareg besides the Audi models.

I'm sorry to contradict you, but Touareg is equipped with same BCM2 type as A6, A7 and A8.
And if it's 2017 it's certainly Encrypted, you're dreaming if you think to find a 2017 BCM2 not encrypted

I did two A6 both 2017 and A7 2016 all keyless non of them encrypted 10 min job

Maybe you're missing something or I expressed myself bad.

BCM2 after 2013 circa are Encrypted, you can recognize them by SW number. You can still ADD Key by OBD having a working key, but in case of AKL you can't do anything because you can't read BCM2 with a programmer like the old ones (MCU has read Lock).
If AKL you can't make the 'power on-off BCM2' procedure by OBD and you can't read by programmer, there are only Poldiag and VVDI solutions at the moment.

He asked what type of Immo is Touareg 2017 and the answer is: Immo5 BCM2 encrypted, but for sure he can still try to add Key by OBD with one of his Tools.

I'm surprised that you don't even know about encrypt BCM2, it's a thing from 2013 not from yesterday, and there are also a lot of informations here on Forum..

Maybe but I only had to use vvdi to decrypt/unlock BCM on A4 and A5 after 2014 and 2015 all A6,A7 I made had been 2016,2017 and do spare key without any problems by OBD.

If spare key.
No problem adding an extra key.
Even if it is encrypted.

Just need to read out info from the key.
When making the dealer key.
And also makes it possible to read the immo data, OBD.

Remember ON/OFF start button.
Between each key. When register, at the end.

I've programed spare key on few A6 A7 2016 2017 without problem with VVDI2 or Autel

but never had A4 A5 after 2013 - So is it possible to program spare key on them by OBD?

Yes, you can program it but only spare Key

I never manage to do spare on A4 and A5 after 2014 with VVDI2 only VVDI2 and VVDI prog
allways get data lenght error when try to read BCM

on A6 and A7 no problem adding key till 2017 all by OBD

You are absolutely right in 1 statement, Touareg is equipped with same type BCM2 as a6/a7/a8 which is NOT encrypted. Only a4/a5/q5 encrypted 2014+.

I don't know where is the logic though as more luxury models do not have encrypted bcm
