cant delete mkv files?

I have the same problem with same file mkv, I downloaded from torrent, now every time I click on it explorer restarts..... tried in safe mode still the same, I cannot right click....As soon as the file is highlted explorer restarts....

Hello guys,

I was going through the same problem from last 3 months and don't know how to delete it. today in the morning something came to my mind and it worked.so try this it will help you:

step1: open any excel file.
step2: try to save as in any excel previous format.
step3: when it ask you where to save it.just go to the file where the mkv is. right click on the file and just delete it. the file or movie can only be deleted when we do it like this. otherwise when we try to delete it directly windows will stop working or any other issue will occur. Hope it will help you guys. also don't forget to empty your recycle bin to delete it permanently.
