Can be crash stored in abs? Just an oppinion...
Hi
I have a Honda grace hybrid that will not start after having been rear ended. Air bag were not deployed.
P1D65 system shutdown due to collision detection
U0401-68 PGM-F1 system malfunction
C0062 -F0 Longitudinal acceleration sensor
malfunction
Any idea what could cause the car not to start?
Thanks

Hey fuzz
Is the engine cranking??
Check for wire breaks or earthing.
Has the fuel supply stopped??
Check physically as well as the wiring of the fuel pump in the fuel tank.
Is the airbag module fine??
Scan and check for crash data in the airbag module.
Put a gasoline soaked cloth at the air suction and check if engine starts and runs for a while. It it does, then there is some electronics gone kaput. Please check for alarms in engine electronics
Please keep updated
Thanks and all the best

Hi
No fault in airbag unit and the car doesn't crank.
Thanks
Hi fuzz
So this is battery monitoring module or the battery health sensor not getting the signal from the srs module. No signal from srs module to it cuts the battery power supply to the starter motor. This symptom as well as the longitudinal sensor alarm indicate faulty srs unit. If you can swap it with another good module or can try this module in another vehicle? If possible, try bench testing the module. Share the images of the srs module, it's board both sides and the pins images. Might be, i can find the bench test connections of the module.
Thanks
Take care

Hi
I can try to read the SRS module and post the dump. However i doubt that it is coming from there. Should have got messages from the scan or SRS and airbag light should be on. I wonder if there is some inertia switch that cuts off power in case of an accident.
Happened just after the car was rear ended. No start at all
Can you please check if the fuel pump is getting the power supply or not. There might be some fuse or trip; manual or electronic that has disconnected the power supply to it. No alarms in the scanner means the problem is not that big. As you said pgmfi alarm is there, it should be lit on the instrument cluster in green. The longitudnal sensor alarm and the dead vehicle are not related and can be fixed after vehicle is started. Check any electeonic "kill switch" or trip that had switched off the power supply to fuel pump

Hey fuzz
Just got an update from a friend that the pgmfi alarm is lit only in the case when the power supply to the fuel system is interrupted. It can be due to vehicle immobilizer as in the case of duplicate keys insertion or if there is some problem with the srs system. So in your case, it has to have relate to the srs system only; which the disturbed longitudnal sensor confirms. There might be not any alarms typically in the srs system but you need to check the power supplies to the starting system. Please check the hybrid system and its fuses and safety system also. It might have tripped the power to the starting system

Yeah, check to see if there is an immo lite on
Thanks i will check that
Eh try reading manual for incase of emergency
if bag light goes out, sounds like not that, are seatbelts ‘useable’
Start with fuel inertia switch

Hi
Thanks my friend. Thought of that too the inertia switch but can't find it. Anyone knows of there's one and where it is?
No seatbelts were activated. No srs fault or airbag faults
Hey fuzz
One of the sensors is present in the airbag module. If you can try, remove the airbag module, let it stay for a while and get the capacitors discharged and then fit it back. Then connect the scanner and try to find out for any options which resets the g sensor or inertia sensor. Also try to look for any options in the vehicle stability system or some similar menu (tab) in the scanner for this vehicle.... And then try to reset it.
Hope it somehow helps.
All the best and keep updated

I will try to disconnect srs unit and connect. Disconnected the battery connected it to another battery and car started. But then shut it off and tried to start it again doesn't start even with second battery
