Question Best brake caliper slider grease

    Morning all,

Might sound a dumb question but what is the best grease to use caliper slider pins?

I have always used copper grease but see more and more things about not to use it these days, so what can people recommend that is readily available in the uk?

Copper slip is dreadful stuff, all the brake & clutch manufacturers hate the stuff & instant warranty claim reject if they find the stuff.
It's actually made from a clay (mud!) With metal particles added. It is NOT a lubricant!!

Best stuff I've used for rubber sliders is silicon grease. Works a treat! on all things rubber.

I have used copper grease for years and not had any issues with it.
