    More like: E A C A E A but it's more like a guessing VA2 from picture.

Vernier caliper and you dont need ask for help each time any more.

Cut a VA2 blade as ABCDEF, then you can compare when use vernier caliper.

I don't cut this VA2 key by picture. It could be wrong cut and......

The key is for a friend I help out from time to time that lives 400 miles from me I help him with simple keys (none remote)
most I can read for him without any problems

These I always struggle with them - Even if the members Manta1600 & P1et have give me the wrong cuts
I really appreciate the trouble and effort they have gone to.
To help me if the 2 cuts are wrong I have lost the cost of 2 key blanks
if correct my friend is happy

    Thank you

So what was the correct cut then? I told you it's more like a guessing with VA2 profile. Why your friend can not use caliper, all dimentions are in instacode or like @lion said, just cut a key A-F and you will have depth sizes.

With VA2 always have issue, you may have to cut with Renault Clio cut and use as Manta codes you will only lose 1 more blade.
Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!

Did you know People will question all the good things they hear about you but believe all the bad without a second thought.
