    try this
    SMB shares.

    First make sure the folder on your PC is shared with the network. It will assign it a default name which you might want to change.

    Then..

    In the Mplayer CE folder on the SD card there'll be a smb.conf file.

    Code:
    #Max 5 samba shares (review menu.conf to add more samba browsing)
    #no ip or no share means samba disabled
    #It's important use quotes (") on shares with blank spaces, see example 2

    #Samba share1 (smb1:/)
    ip1=192.168.0.1
    share1=films
    user1=
    pass1=

    #Samba share2 (smb2:/)
    ip2=192.168.0.1
    share2="My movies"
    user2=
    pass2=Then it's just a matter of editing the details to match your PC configuration.

    Enter your PC Local IP, it'll not likely be 192.168.0.1 but something similar.
    Enter your Share Name, noting that separated words must be enclosed with quotes.

    Once you reinsert the SD card and launch Mplayer CE it will allow you to connect to the shares.

    Cheers CK.

    Updated my Wii a couple of weeks back to usb loader (which is superb) and forgot ho to set up CE player. Works a treat.

    Brilliant thankyou, works perfect, did take a little while setting up the sharing as I'm running windows 7 with a cisco network manager but got there in the end.
