    Default FORD PANASONIC UNITS MUTE PROBLEM

    HI CAN YOU HELP WHAT IS THE PROBLEM WITHIN THE CV4T-19C107-GG GB GH TYPE PANASONIC UNITS
    WE ARE SEEING LOTS WITH THE STUCK ON MUTE PROBLEM HAVE TRIED MASTER RESET STILL SAME
    I AM LOOKING FOR INFO ON WHAT THE MUTE TRANSISTER IS AND ITS LOCATION ?
    A CIRCUI DIAGRAM WOULD HELP OR ADVICE ON THE PROBLEM

    Hi. This is a very common problem on SYNC head units. Remove main PCB and turn over. You will find overheated components around Q201. Clean with flux and re-flow overheated area. For reliability fit flexible heat conductor between 5 pin regulator, Q201 and bottom cover. This circuit provides the 1.8V to the DSP chip.
