Default Free Zone Alarm pro is not bad

I have Zone Alarm pro with 15794 days of the trial left and I am not complaining. It has served me well for three items Firewall; Antivirus and Antispyware. Touch wood I havn't had any problems with any of those nasties. However I have heard there are nasties like rootkits which none of the present Anti-spyware/virus can detect. Once they enter your computer there is noway of detecting it . The only solution I have seen is to boot your Pc using a cd based Linex OS and then do a sweep through your pc . The reason you can detect them this way is that you are not loading anything from the hard drive hence the rootkit cannot morph into something else and or divert attention away from itself. Ok its not intelegent but it seems to behave that way.

    Default Sophos Antivirus

    Hi,

Been using this for a while now as my company also used it and seems to have worked well so far. Anyone else used this one?

Kaspersky and NOD32 is truly great Anti-Virus softwares but right now I dont use any except Windows 10 stock security and even that is disabled
    My recommendations are those two.

    Best regards,

If you are a web developer then I would recommend to get some WAF (web application firewall) which would detect and block attacks (OWASP Top 10, WASC, layer 7 DDoS, zero-day attacks etc.) Here is more about that https://www.ptsecurity.com/ww-en/ana...ng-xss-attack/ I am not sure that antiviruses can provide protection against such cyber threats. In addition I would install No Script addon on your browser for more protection.
