    Default Renault K9K SID305 run on 2 cyl

    Hello, 23°C degrees here.
    Renault Megane year 2010 1.5 dCi.
    At cold start the engine runs always with cylinder 3 and 4.
    It continue to run like this until you turn it off.
    If you restart engine it will run regularly.

    DTC are for injector 1 and 2 not working.

    When it runs regularly the 4 waveforms of injectors are identical.

    The Ecu is a SID305 Continental, have you ever had problem with this Ecu driving bad 2 injectors at the first start
    every couple of hours?

    Continental-Siemens has injectors. This is PIEZO. I check the elements with instruments. Look at the injector corrections on the scanner. For piezo, gaps are needed, which can be made on the stand.

    You have K9K 836 ....

    Connect the computer, you will see the injector corrections. You could try swapping the injectors. The problem should go away for a while. 1 cylinder from the flywheel.

    And about signals, there are not electromagnets, but piezo. they have an opening - 160 Volt / and time .. Get me a signal with an oscilloscope and then I'll tell you where to dig.

    Injector pulse are all equal when it run ok. See pic attached, this is cylinder 3.

    Injector resistance for all injectors is 199.9 kOhm.
    I never measured piezo before. This is the first time I read resistance value of these injectors.

    Car is running fine since 3 days.

    Honestly? It's not even a piezo waveform. If you want, I will teach, and throw off the video how they work. You get a lack of contact, it happens. I'll post the diagram below.

    Bend the contacts with a needle and everything will be fine.
    I don’t remember exactly, plug A or B .. But it’s simple there.


    I work with electromagnetic and piezo, only gasoline. Do not test them with resistance. Unless they are shorted to the case. A megameter can, but it is better to have a device that checks the piezoelectric package.

    That waveform is the reading from the current probe that make the conversion 1mA=10mV.
    Engine running fine since 19th August.
