Default Volvo Airbag 0285010843 part number 31318619

    Hi everyone.

Wondering if its possible for someone to look at this file for me.

The vehicle hasn't been in an accident. the serpentine belt snapped and my friend decided to keep driving it until the vehicle cut out. I'm suspecting corrupt data like on other airbag modules, in turn causing a no communication issue.

If someone could please reset the eeprom so I could try it, it would be great.

compairing the eeprom data to others seems to confirm my thoughts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Mike.

    Hi all,

Apologies for a long response time.

The airbag module itself is dead, due to corrupt microprocessor firmware.

Is there any chance someone can clear this file for me instead.
I can fit a second hand unit then and hopefully cure this vehicle.

basically, if i flash the first eeprom to the replacement module i get configuration faults.
If I flash the microcontroller with the original microcontroller file I get a no comms again.

If I can get this eeprom cleared instead I will be able to change the VIN and all should be good.

    Thanks in advance.
    Mike
