PERMISSION TO ASK HELP ADMIN..
Please help, i have problem here, suzuki celerio 2016 model instrument cluster, mcu is shorted (MB96F016YB) very hot after few seconds connected to power source, cluster is dead.. my question is shall i need to reprogram the new mcu or not?

Check around the MCU to see if there is any capacitor that is shorted to ground

the mcu itself is shorted,all supporting components are good.. 5v supply going to the mcu is normal after removing the shorted mcu.. i need to find new mcu, my question is if the new mcu is plug and play or need to reflash or reprogram.. thanks
