    Default pp2000 ecu configuration problem

Hi All, I'm back with another pp2000 problem. I have just fitted a new factory ecu to a 2005 206. Engine runs fine but I am having issues configuring ecu and as a result the ecu has a permanent fault code for configuration. I am unable to read configuration from old ecu as it is dead, burnt board. automatic configuration ends with connection fail as does manual configutation for which I am guessing correct options.
    MIL is on.
Old ecu was sagem, new ecu is valeo.
As usual, any input would be appreciated.

If you have a Sagem fuel injection you cant install a Valeo ecu........

    Only Sagem it will work.

Probably you by a wrong ecu.

The ecu part number that you need is 1939V8

Sorry, but I can't find any 206 with Valeo ECU to retrieve coding. All of them are J34P.

Have you tried changing the index "built-in system interface", because this type of 206 has the CAN bus as a communication system and not common wire connection.

As fas as i know...the automatic tele.. will not works !!When you a dealer.. the tool will make connection to internet and will loginto mainserver he reads the vinnumber when you did fill in. At that time he will configure automatic.

When you not a legal dealer.and have the un-legal tool...you must do all by hand..
i had to reprog a BSI from 307 SW by hand..had to look into all submenu's and did check what the car had..and not..like "make-up mirror ?? yes no ?.. all things like that.. after that reprog keys..ECU did get free..then you can reprog ECU...( need pincode )..it worked by me.

Wish you good luck..but think it can be done.
