    Default De-synching Sky remote.

    Can any one help?
Had my installation yesterday and the engineer synched the Sky remote to my tele-don't want this and looked in the manual and on-line to no avail.I know you can take out the batteries to do this but that's it.Does anyone know of another way i.e. through the Sky remote itself?
    Thanks,
    Craig.

Thanks-went to switch off the sat and the ~~~~in tele went off!! I really don't want anything other than my tele remote operating the tele;old guard I am.While you're here the volume on Sky is well below the VM box it replaced-I know there's issues with this-does anyone know if there's a fix or do we have to wait-no volume control on Sky remote now.

your doin it wrong m8...to turn tv off press tv on sky remote then power off and the tv will go off...to turn sky box off press big sky button then power button and sky box goes off.....if you still dont want it take the batteries out of the remote for ten minutes and it will lose the code,,going back to the default setting for phillips tv,s.......the code for lg tv,s is 0056 if you want to put it back in again...

    Press the following:

    On the Sky handset

    Press the TV button

Then press the red and select buttons at the same time, the red LED will flash twice.

When it flashes press the TV button again and enter in the Keypad 0000 then press select to store.

This will stop the Sky handset controling your TV and will have no effect on how it controls the Sky box.

P.S.-0n HDMI and Scart-interestingly the scart on SD is better than HDMI and sound is a little louder too.I'm using a QED HDMI and would have expected it to be the other way round-but volume is much lower than with VM box.Hope this is useful peeps.
