    Default Finding can lines

    Hi
    It's probably been asked before but i couldn't find any answer.

    How do you determine the can lines on an ECU?

    mostly by looking for pinout for specific ecu or schematic, almost always CAN is twisted pair of thin wires

    Thanks for your reply. Yes makes sense twisted pair cause they data carrying cables. However that would be fine if we have access to the car. What about a way if possible of finding can lines just having the module without the car.

    Hello to all. If you are working on board ( pcb ) you can look for 8pin ic ( in most cases ) can bus driver. Or ferrite filter for can lines, or both of them near one to other.
