I don't know why, but the last two message I posted about how to reflash VAG with FW11.2 beta has been erased. Search in Rapidshare the file VAGREVIVAL.rar.

Mates do you know why there are a lot of pages and very hard to find something?
Just becasue one of us just ask and aspect somebody "stand up" to give to you everything you want. For some of use maybe the better is to make it all for you and you no touch anything.

For the guys who ask everytime how to do this.
In this thread there are evrything they want to reprogramm by themselves their tool.
What you need
1. dumps for Atmega
2. flash for Atmega
3 ept file for FTDI
4. dump for GAL ( for that ones to make tools with FTDI RLL inside )
5 AVR programmer
Tutorial to do this also finding here for VCDS with BL/BM adn for RL
Ok it is free to ask but please ask when you don't know how to do it or you aren't pretty sure how to do it but please don't ask evrytime "where we find dumps or tutorial?"
Just read mates becasue everything is here. It is hard of course to read entire thread but this is becasue of us.

Solution by Vyger is not working well.
Flashed my Vag106 with 11.2 dump. Turned date to second may.
First you need to run 10.6 program, then connect to the car.
Close 10.6, open 11.2 by loader and interface test is OK.

Problem is the autoscan is not working. Crashing after a few modules. So we gonna wait for some better solution

PS. 11.3 beta is out

11.2 has autoscan problem
an upadate to 11.3 has been released wich fixes that problem

but still you can find a lot of information here - also dumps for 908, 805.

therefore to make your life easy !!!! instead of search into entire topic you can just click on the attached icon on the forum section - to see all attached document.

It's not the better solution, but it works for me up to now. I tried autoscan and work ok. I think the date is a problem try a date near 29th May. But firstly unisntall all VDCS versions and driver, run FTclean, then reinstall VCDS10.6 completely, drivers included, then install VCDS 11.2 beta only without drivers. This procedure is applicable to my case beacuse, I don't know way, VCDS11.2's drivers don't recognize my VAG106 chinese cable with ft232RL.

The reason moderators deleted the old VCDS thread was because some DK members were developing tools and sharing their know-how for free with everyone...

But some guys were selling those free solutions and IMO moderators did the right thing when they deleted the old thread.

But... now.... they are not sharing anything with us... or are they? I don't think so!!!

I just find here solutions and files from other member and even links for other foruns.

Rules are rules and I am not breaking those rules... but what's the problem if I share a tool or a dump that I own in here? If I don't share here I can share it anyone else.... for free.

Is it because copyrights? But aren't dreamboxes illegal too? I don't think that it's legal to point an antenna to a satellite and decrypt signals.
