Don't know but I think it's cracked for RL tool.
Can't try it now. Found it on ecutool.com.
I think it's for FT232RL with 1.84 FW and without chinese security chip HW.

These are various variants.

it is only one variant = for old cable with FT232BM\BL =bootloader with 256 word = start addres to hex - 00003E00
for FT232RL - need another bootloader (with 512 word =start addres to hex - 00003C00 and another fw184_flash Atmega 162.

Read completely my post. It only the answer to a question:"..my programmer asks for 2 files (flash and eeprom), what can I do to write it in Atmega ?.." I have simply segmented a file.

Just to share my experience while using 11.2 beta dump.

VCDS 11.3 beta: Sofware detects the cable as an original but when I try to communicate with the car the communication is very unstable and faulty.

VCDS 11.2 beta: After testing software says: "Cable not recognized". I did it again after a fresh reflash of ATMEGA and FTDI's EEPROM and nothing. I used two releases I have of this beta.

VCDS 10.6.4: Works 100%

VCDS 10.6.3 and later: Not tested... because those versions are obsolete.

If anyone is working with VCDS 11.2 beta please share your release with us because I have two and none work.

Well if you haven't got the genuine VCDS cable then it probably won't work. I have the genuine cable and both 10.6.4 and 11.2.0 versions both work on mine.

Hey... you know what? I have a clone cable and I a using VCDS 10.6.4 fully registered and tested in my car.

The akward part of it is that VCDS 11.2 is not working with 11.2 dump and 10.6.4 works.

each beta version of the Ross-tech, has a time limit.
I remember only one beta version that works and now it is VCDS912 beta.
VCDS 11.3 beta will end on September 1.
to work with them, rolls back the system time ago.

You should try using "Runasdate" with the Beta versions, to avoid out of date messages

First to answer your question I need to know if there is another release of 10.6.4 also marked as 18 April 2011 but different than the one available today in RT site.

I am saying that because I don't know if Ross Tech is uploading new versions of VCDS 10.6.4 just with new black listed serials and keeping the same date and version number.

Imagine this: I downloaded VCDS 10.6.4 a couple weeks ago before RT found out that there is another free dump so RT reupload the same VCDC 10.6.4 but with a new blacklist.

So to be sure I need to download today from RT 10.6.4 version and find out if it's working or not with 11.2 dump or compare HASHs.

This is not odd because I own two versions of VCDS 11.2 beta with different file sizes... I downloaded them in different time frames.

I download a couple minutes ago VCDS 10.6.4 from RT site and I compared HASHEs from the one I download today and the one I download a couple weeks ago.

Conclusion: both versions are the same.

So, you have your answer here

but keep in mind that this is not always true... As I said I own two versions of VCDS 11.2 and maybe version 1 works with 11.2 dump and version 2 doesn't.

I did this before with 10.6.0 and I suppose now can be the same.
Both versions of VCDS 11.2 expire in 2011-05-31.
First of it it was realesed in february.
This Beta version has date limited.
If u wanna use this Beta version u need a modified version to remove the limitation.
This will be usefull.
I don't know why u need to use this beta version if there is a released one 10.6.4?

I downloaded this version (10.6.4) a couple weeks ago but today I downloaded it again from RT site and HASH verification confirms that this version is the same as the one you can download from RT site - until today
