VAG-COM/VCDS EVERYTHING

I have a problem with vag com 908 clone. When I plug the interface to USB slot it is normally detected as a Ross Tech interface. Then, I D ONT INSTALL DRIVERS , the interface is no more detected ( Windows notifies that USB device is faulty ).

Uninstall VCDS, use FTclean, clean registry, reprogram ftdi with proper dump and install again.

Hello friends,
Someone used the UPA USB "wonderful" to read and write the ATMEGA162, I see that file to reprogram it to work with version 10.6.4 is 46K, while reading the UPA can only read 16 ..... someone uses UPA to make this?

Try to roll back the date to january or something. I reprogramed a BL with the new dump, and when i tried to use on 11.2, it says interface not found, but then i tried to set the date at january and it worked like a charm

Yes, is possible.
See , Atmega 162 have Flash memory & EEPROM , you have to program with UPA both of them separately, not work in "one shoot" both of them like other programmers.

No possible on this model with VCDS , only with VDS_Pro.

You can find here a software( not vcds) but you need the old KKL cable(for 409.1 vag-com) or you can use software like VDS-PRO with a serial vag-com cable(for 311.2 vag-com)

I tought that I can do this with VCDS. Can VCDS do this on CAN cars?

Hi, I have small problem. I've got from friend of mine VCDS cable 10.60 BL based interface destroyed over internet updates. I programmed FTDI with .ept file, then programmed atmega with 100% working dump, but then after all of that cable is no problem recognize as Ross Tech interface, but when I do test interface on the car I've go the message Iteface not found? Why is like that? Do I have to programm GAL as well, or is something different wrong? When I take for example working 704 BL cable and do upgrade with to same dump everything works perfect. Why the damage cable doesn't work?

"CAN cars" have already this function in place, with VCDS you can activate future "auto roll up" on them.

It is VCDS 11.2 interface boght it from China and resseled in Europe on ebay.
Just like this.
I suppose that is a non repramming one because Chinese don't make newer version of VCDS with FT232BL, just with FT232RL

Thank you, but dump that i have to program Atmega have 46k, do you have a dump to program with upa flash memory and eeprom...
