If no eeprom is attached to ftdi232b then when the chips is powered up, it uses internal default values. Then the driver used default ftdi pid and vid, no other explanation is logical.

I have bought this china clone of 11.3 with FTDI BM based.................

Chineses again use the classical circuit for adapters (FT232B and 93C46), because loader (dup2) doesn't work in version 11.3.

Can anybody confirm that fuse bits in UPA are correct like that (these are original as was in 908/912 china clone).

IF for UPA "false" = "bit=0" (enabled) is ok. If not...must inverse all.


I attached you the config bits in PonyProg...where enabled is bit=0, inverse like in khazama where "enabled" is bit=1..
I don't enable BLock01 but in china clones 704 is enabled..i don't know why...

I give you an idea..in UPA can you read all config bits? If yes, read from an 704.

The problem with newest clones is because i understud: the bootloader is biger and must do another config: bootsz1 enabled, bootsz0 disabled. If is real, i don't know. I still config like in ponyprog.

mmm.. have you "Atmega doctor"? If yes try yourself and if is wrong and atmega is locked, you can unlock with AD.

Excelent idea..or, like in my post 2061, you can read with upa from a functional VCDSXXX.
Look at my image with setting on pony, and tell me why in the china clones is BootLock 1 enabled? (read from chinaclone).

HI, i have china clone VCDS 805, but i hav instaled new version of VCDS and the program blocked my hardware. I reflashed flash memory of atmega 162 using UPA, and I used mprog with ept, but when I test it in VCDS, I have message: failed selftest, and cannot connect to eny module. What's the method to get my hardware working?
I cannot find eprom dump for atmega and also 93c46

finaly I'v got IT WORKING! I did not program atmega162 eprom memory and thats why my vcds did not work. the epprom and flash was in 1 file (had to use winhex and some brain to separate them
