    Hi everyone!
Will my tool work with 10.6.4. dumps?
It oryginally comes with untouched Ross-tech 504-UD software and still works
Maybe I'm lucky and S/N in this tool is not longer blaclisted?

Yes, your tool will work with any working dumps!

About the: "Maybe I'm lucky and S/N in this tool is not longer blaclisted?" I have so say:

    ...Keep dreaming

But it's nice to have a colletion of old working dumps! Try reading the ATMEGA and post here the dump and VCDS soft.

    Thanks

    Regards

    Didn't worked

I suppose, that programmer should be recognized by software even without connected atmega chip, but my programmer is visible only in AVR Studio and not connecting do atmega. I also use AVR Dude with GUI, but it not recognized connected chip.
So I have to wait for another programmer (usbasp) which I ordered yesterday.

    regards

Correct, the problem is what is cheapest: AVR USB programmer or a PCMCIA/LPT device?
And, of course, the LPT is worn.

You can get an USBasp for 3.99 USD including shipping

The money you'll spent on a LPT programmer made by you is about the same as the USBasp from ebay...

I have both and believe me... USBasp is great!

Of course LPT programmer has it's advantages, for example, works on ponyprog and USBasp won't... but hey, you have other good quality software burners.

And yes!!!!! If you want to upgrade your USBasp you need another USBasp or a LPT programmer

Check on ebay.com and you'll be surprised

Programmer thats I already have didn't work for me - it's USB AVR ISP II STK500v2, so I ordered another one - this time USBasp.
I hope I didn't broke my tool trying to make connection with my programmer.

There is a very useful programing software with build in fuse calculator - http://atnel.pl/mkAVRCalculator_build_57.rar - it has an English interface too (you have to delete folder \mkAVRCalculator_build_57\locale\ after unpack).

Another thing I observed - there is no certain infos about lock bits (fuse bits are in many places almost the same):
    in hex:
    Low fuse: CD
    High fuse: DC
    Extended fuse: F9
    Lock fuse: FF

    and from another post:
    LOW: CD
    HIGH: DC
    EXT F9
    LOCK: CC

    and from rsibiza extremeburner manual:
    Low fuse: CD
    High fuse: 9C
    Extended fuse: F9
    Lock fuse: CF

    which set is OK?

    regards
