Yes you can do it.
What version it is now?
Just reflash Atmega use flash pads
No need to reflash GAL

new i used with vag com 10.63 soft but not original soft

Near the USB wires there flashing pads.
You can reflash Atmega using this pads.
I haven't this kind of tool anymore becasue I use just BL inside tool.
Do you know how to update it?
If you know how to update it ou can try the original softwear ( or modified once 10.6.4 and 11.2 ). If you don't ...forget about it.
It is your choice but this kind of tool you can upgrade it without reflashing GAL for sure.

as far as I can see it is RL base, and I never succeeded to revival such tool without reprogramming GAL and done the modifications according to RL rules.

Misu that it is a new kind of tool.
You can reflash it without GAL reflashing or others modifications.
The PCB has the modifications just doneas you do it in the earlier tools with RL.
The issue it is because I suppose that he need to use a modified softwear tool.

I couldn't see any STC c.r.a.p. on this pcb, is that why GAL doesn't need flashing. Two years ago I remember i had different kind of pcb in the same case, it was BL based but pcb was really thin and i stopped working with those, maybe this one is better.

Use with cracked 11.2 from forum.
Reflash atmega with 1.84 dump and FTDI.
Don't need to reflash GAL in this hardware

Anyway it's crappy HW.

Buy some good clone with FT232BM and ISO drivers like L9637D or si9241.

The new VCDS tools are the same.
The PCB are the same but the different is that one are with FTDI BL and the others with RL
The one with BL works with original softwears and for RL's need loader.
I will ever choose the BL's one.
You know why.

Hello all,

I have chines clone of VCDS 11.2.0.

full working 1 week ago, but now when i do scan all moduls (in Autoscan menu) i have error " Sorry! this function require a licensed interface."
And when i turn on the soft i have also the erro:
"You should update your usbb driver".

Anyone can help me please?
