Hi!!!!
Somebody have pinout or schema how to connect atemga 162 and UPA programmer?
vanya86: Intersting if Rosstech really also managed to squeeze
firmware inside 8K flash (comapring to 16K of atmega162).

reflash the Atmega162 and also FTDI device accordingly.

dear all,
I would like to ask you about one issue which I found with one tool and one laptop.
tool: VCDS RL base
laptop: Dell
OS: WinXP SP3
VCDS sw: 11.2 (loader for FTDI RL base)
Issue: After reflash the Atmega and FTDI accordingly the tool it is working for several disgnostic procedures, and then the tool stops working.
I observed this in that specific computer, mentioned above.
Q: What can I do to avoid this issue in the future?
Many thanks for your support!
mishu
1. After a new reflash, the tool work again on Dell?
2. Before the reflash the tool work ok on another model PC?
...
yes is working on that Dell laptop and also in any other computer.
I think is a problem in working on that computer!

If after the few times don't work in that Dell but work unlimited in another PC, the problem is on Dell..
How stop work? Not registered or not communicate?
Is possible to be a problemm on USB ports or drivers..
If you can try with a PCMCIA / USB device..
Or... Format C: <enter> [Y] [Y].. Instal fresh Win..and don't leave the internet on dell..
Or.. run without internet from USB stik....extract the stik, and work on internet..etc
Have you correct drivers, for that Dell model and WinXP?
If you use for XP a Vista driver...is possible to work unexpectly

step by step:
I have done also fresh instal WinXp on the hard drive. - same issue
I tried also from USB stick - same issue
I have the correct driver for that particular Dell laptop.
Issue after few runs - Not registered.
It is working very well on other PCs.
I'm really under unknown zone - I have no solutions for this particular case.

Is only one pair = "that VCDS-RL on that Dell" or any VCDS-RL or BL on that Dell?
If is only one/that VCDS RL ..maybe RL "lazzy"...
If is any VCDS ..maybe lazzy or problematic USB...
...
I have problem also with VCDS BL based too. And also with many VCDS RL based.
Surprisingly is that - the VCDSs worked very well sometimes ago - and know is acting like crazy.
I think I will change the laptop.
