Xoom my friend i told him that he should use win xp it's safer but he won't listen, anyway i repaired one interface today using your udfixer, after i created new drivers and installed driver got xoom device however mprog crashed when i tried to erase eeprom so i used vidpid fix and write default data (DLP module) after that i could use mprog and write vcds eeprom.

if it was with ft232rl you have to reprogram GAL..

How can i program the GAL?

bibkare, yep that's happening to me also if i try mprog but ftprog do the job

Good but way too much hassle.....i was execting just to tag some wires on the GAL...

hi guys i have two interfaces clone 704 and 812 both of them are knackered they stopped working after i went online one time and it asked me if iwanted to update to newer version i have tried to fix them by following the tutorial but to no avail i'm not a sparky i'm more of a grease monkey with big hands so imagine my hands holding a solder wire and trying to solder atmega is downright impossible for me, so is there any one who's close by who i could mail my interfaces to so that i can use them again please send me a pm thanks

that guid has Help me now the cable are recognized by Windows( a exclamation Point appear but in ftprog i see the cable).
Please what is the next step? with wich button in FTProg i Erase
the EEprom and how i flash the new file? -> see attachment.

i am new in the automitive buisnes,i heard that VCDS is a great program for Car diagnostics ,so can some one tell me how to instal it maybe with a guide from A to Z i would be very thankfull

Can the GAL be wired directly like the Atmega? Seems Galblast could help. Any help appricaiated.
