you should do it on win xp, in ftprog select eeprom for your ft232 then click erase after that select vcds eeprom and click write, unplug and plug again, it should be recognized as rosstech hex-can

If you had 10.6 software installed, you might need to reinstall windows. It will keep killing your interface!

The interface Test it is OK?
If it's ok use this procedures:
    1. plug the inetrface into the care
    2. plug the inetrface into the USB
    3. Run the softwear
If you close the softwear do the procedure again to have the softwear full activated/registred.
    Good luck

Sorry for the questions but my cable is now dead.
You can wire directly a programmer (ISP programming) into the GAL only if the GAL is an ispGAL. If not, you must dessold it and program it externally.

Here you have two cheap GAL programmers:

    Interface test is ok,
Done all procedures still says shareware/not ativated in ABOUT icon.
And when try to do some basic test to car it says "you need a licenced interface to use this funcion".
Already uninstalled vag908 and also drivers and then instaled it again and same thing.
Do i need to reprogram again the cable or its just a software/drivers issue?

post a picture of your interface (pcb), you definitely need to re-flash atmega and maybe some other components to remove
