You're right, but, i can't write the atmega without 12V and usb connected. Try write atmega only with usb plugged.

hi, its really dificult solder the 4 wires to atmega

well, i had discovered a problem while scanning an Audi S4.

When i tried to view measures block and adaptations like channel 60/61 i receive a message like "you need original licence".

But, i can view/delete all DTCs

Somebody has the same problem?

oh, i bought a solder tool and all that i need, but im not good for this.

i prefer buy another cable.

What software is a guy supposed to use together with a Nec equipped "vag106" cable?
I bought one and the cd that came with it was cracked in two pieces

Never got to test it/ make it work with VCDS 10.6.4 as i did with my older 607 and 704 after i updated them

You have 2 options:

1 - Learn how to reflash your cable, that includes soldering those 4 thin wires into the ATMEGA. Everyone that posted on this thread was able to solder those wires. So I bet you can also do it... I have faith on you :P Good luck!!!

2 - Buy new tools whenever your old tools get unregistered.

With all my cautions... I need to reflash my cable every month... But I don't even delete d1, d2 and d3 files or being carefully when the computer is online.

I just don't give a f*** about that because I learnt how to repair the cable

So... you should also learn this too... for your own know-how

Then, when the cable is dead you just reflash it

If you were connected to the Internet and the program started to kill obviously working cable, it is necessary to remove d1-d3 files, and to replace "codes.dat" file.
