second: connect wires on your atmega like in tutorial and supply power to interface, open ponyprog choose first flash file (extension .hex) then choose eeprom file (also .hex extension) program it. Forget about .bin file, use arash dump with two files

Hit thanks button if this helps

Hmm, try function autoscan, if that goes well i mean if you don't get message "this function require licensed interface", then you are OK. I sincerely doubt that your cable was cured

    Hi

yes autoscan work perfect I use this cable with VCDS 908 on a Golf 6. I can read every control modul.

    Because Why?
I have try to use VCDS 10.6 -> choose test
cable wars recogniced 1 minute later Windows occures a message unknown device USB to serial. The cable do not work with the Original VCDS 10.6 and my clone VCDS 908.
I flashed the rftl232 an the cable work again with the clone 908 sotware. I do not trust me to test it again with the 10.6
can I test any other cloned VCDS software with a higher release?
