Today has arrived 11.11.3 clone to me, I opened it, it has ATF, not like somebody write that 11.11.3 haven't GAL/ATF.

Can you ost here 2 photos with both sides of PCB? But with good resolution. Can be too because of GAL bad programed.
@16D: have ATF16V8, is pin to pin like GAL16V8 but for writing use another voltage.
But your cable have FT232RL. In older vcds with RL, pin 5 of FT232RL is IN, link on Tx (pin 1 of FT232). In yours pin 5 ATF is link on ATMEGA and 9 i suppose is to FT (can try to measure continuity between pin 9 ATF and pin 1 FT232RL). In this case is no need to reprogram ATF. But is newer, so, is the HQ version (can stay on internet without problems?)

You have fine piece of hardware, probably you have one transistor fried, go to test interface and post result

Desolder U9 (ST), reprogram FT232BM with MProg, reprogram ATMEGA with 11.11.0 dumps, install 11.11.0 and good luck

VCDS 11.11.3 that it is sell in China now it is without GAL/ATF
So prey to God that you have luck with this.
There are diffrent versions of this VCDS 11.11.3 but this one but the Chinese preffer to sell the other one without GAL/ATF , you know why becasue it is cheep and they have high profits

P.S> this tool as yours you can reflash it with any version - no ATF reflash, no wire soldered, it can be reflashed as the one with BL

I can't see any pics.
For the VCDS 11.11.5 is using fw 1.92
If you want a tool to work with this version you need dump for it ( eeprom and flash )

Hi, I have strange problem?! I bought second hand ThinkPad x60s Intel Core Duo CPU L2400 1,66GHz, 2GB of RAM with fresh Windows XP. I installed VCDS on it but cable doesn't won't work. I have all the time message during the test that cable is not connected to the car. Cable is 100% working because when I connect it to different computer with Vista or XP (but much faster computer, better CPU) cable works fine with to same software. Only on this computer ThinkPad x60s I cant run any VCDS version at all. Any idea why? Is it computer to slow or what? Any solution except "change computer"?
Computer works perfect with any other software except VCDS, all drivers installed, no problems with computer what so ever. I reinstalled XP and to same story, tried with windows 7 and to same. Can't make VCDS work on this computer

I have here an original VCDS interface but it stopped working.

Was working on a SEAT re-coded original Touchscreen radio. everithing went O.K. wanted to go to Instrument cluster for service reset.
and get the Message "not plugged into car".
did interface test, interface found and connected but not plugged into car message.
Green light is "On" did check with 2 laptops and 2 cars always same message.
have last SW on laptop and last Firmware on interface. do you know how to get it running again?

I have FTDI232RL inside with USB VID 0403 and PID FA24.

If the sollution is here in this treath please let me know where, i could not find it.. Maybe because it is miles long..
