Hello guys,
I have a problem with an interface VCDS 11.11.0. After I wrote the atmega-dump (on the other interface this dump work perfect), I tested my car with auto-scan, it tested a few modules, and after that, an error occurred (see picture). I wrote this dump with PonyProg on LPT port (with 1kohm resistors).
The internet connections was OFF, the dump was tested on other interface, so it is OK
After that I wrote another dump (for VCDS 11.2.0 BETTA), but I had the same issue.
Note: On ABOUT the interface is UNREGISTERED!
Can you tell me which the cause of the fault is in this case?
best regards.
Have you checked FTDI?
yes, I checked...
in device manager the interface is OK.
It may be the cause of this issue atmega 162? fuse bits block or something like that...? the bit SPIEN cheeked and freez.
Have you tryed reflash it again?
You say internet was OFF,is it off all the time?

I reflashed it, but without positive results.
The internet was OFF all time.
Some pics with your tool's PCB ( both sides ) will be great to figure it out of what exaclly tool we're talking about. There's many kind of PCB and solutions for each one of them.
Make an interface TEST and check if both K line are OK ( k1-OK, k2-OK )
Check it in the Device Manger when that issue mesage will come
Check if it is showed in there or not.
Good luck

This is the interface. (VG.A 2010-04-08)
I made an Interface Test, and the result was K1-OK and K2-OK.
Well
FCirst of all because i cannot see very well from the pics, my advice is to clean up a littel bit the STC, R50 and T5 pads
Maybe there's a short cut
And check just to be sure that theres no short cut between that pads
Then try to fkash it again
A 'burned GAL" can couse also your issue.
Good luck

I verified, and there are not shorts.
Can you tell me how I can verify the GAL?

Did you made this tests with the interface plugged into a car and USB ro... jsut into USB?
Check the VID/PID
Good luck
@nae.....
I understud this: On the 4 laptops (one with xp and 3 with w7) work fine, and ths 4 laptops never had before installed VCDS.
On your laptop don't work fine. Is correct?
If yes, the "guilty" is your laptop, maybe have updater in startup, in registry, etc.
And yes, like sed matty, the test must made with the cable plugged in the car and in usb.
thanks friends for reply
if you look to the name of each picture is describe the conditions of test as folow

Try to use b.e. Revo Uninstaller and uninstall all versions of VCDS from PC, uninstall VCDS drivers, clean registry or "Start->run->regedit"
Find "Ross" or "VCDS" keys and delete.
Restart pc, reinstall VCDS with ALL "network adapters" disabled (included wireless).
After install, Start->Programs->Startup. If see a shortcut "VCDS Updater" or something, rightclick on it and delete.
Start-run-MSCONFIG.
Choose Services tab; chek "hide all MS services" and look if an "VCDS" exist; if yes, unchek.
Choose Startup tab; look if an "VCDS" exist, unchek. Restart. "VCDS" mean something like VCDS (VCDS updater, VCDS update, etc)
