Hello, i have a problem and dont know were to write so sorry if my problem not for this topic.

I have Passat B6 2005year EDC 16U34 and i know my pin code :18085.

I tryed to login in 01 engine ,ore try put code in security access ,but to me came image and i can't do anythink :/
Maybe some one know how long need wait for time will be expired? ore how to solve this problem?

I'm looking on my chinese provider that exist a lots of versions 10.6, 11.11.1 ,12.10.3, 12.12.0 ??/
Which of these work better, what you suggest me.

I'm looking for 512 words bootloader. If someone has it please send me a private message. Maybe we can exchange some stuffs...
The firmware it's not so important for me, I'm interested mainly in bootloader part of the dump (0x3C00-0x3FFF region of dump).

The identification of bootloader version is easy. If you have a dump which need to following fuse/lock bits settings please send me private message:
Low fuse: CD
High fuse: DA !!!
Extended fuse: F9
Lock fuse: FF

hi everyone.I have a clone Vag 12.12 cable an it uses a Nec D79F8513A chip.(it was sent by mistake to me) since i ordered a different one. anyways -is this chip possible to reprogram or do anything with ?? also are there any data schematics for this chip in english ?? The cable runs fine for any Vag programs that use the Version 192 but doesn't work on older Version 184 Vag programs-earlier than the 11.xx Is this common on the newer cables,not like my 812.4 one. It has a "hexa193-00c6............." serial number. PS I found that the serial # is in the banned list in Vag 12.12.2. Have most of the dump of the eeprom area an found it needs a FT232RL chip,won't run in my older cable with FT232BM chip- RL chip has more memory an the program does some tests on it. Also,after unpacking Vag 12.12.2 you can see most serial # in plain text but alot are also encrypted in plain text ,so not seeing it doesn't mean its not on the banned list.

My 11.11.3 cable had problems on k-line (was working for couple of seconds and then threw "too many communication errors"), while CAN on another car was doing preety good (I know there were some errors in communication as it had occasionally shown N/A value while measuring blocks). So I started to play with the cable and that is how I ended up in the state in which it does not work at all...

Could anyone suggest a solution for such cable:

The FTDI is blank, no marks on it.

The same thing happened to me and the only solution is to reflash Atmega.
L.E. your FTDI is FT232BL(or BM) .

Cheers, I know the solution is to reflash, but along with a reflash there are some additional procedures like dismounting/mounting other elements and/or programming other chips depending on the interface/pcb version.

But, you say "problems on K"

With cable powered do a TEST (options->test)..

K1 ?
K2 ?
CAN ?

I was like that until it broke:

K1: OK
K2: OK
CAN: Not ready

But it was on a 03 car that has K-Line and some kind of early CAN. The comuunication was killed with "too many communication errors to continue", but on a car with CAN communication was ok with small glitches (it was like occasional frame drops in communication, but the communication was not dropped itself)

Now it is dead broken as I have been playing with it too much.

So you say that I only have to program the atmega chip. I will try to do it and post the results.


It's done, works great, no communication kills/drops.
