    Hello,

"Cant Synch Baud Rate" is probably problem with communication. This problem was on older version VAG-COM like 311.2.In this situation go to Options screen and change Start Baud field on 4800.If no work then change on 9600 or 1200.Every time after change value in this field you must close VAG-COM and turn off ignition and then back again.
Newer versions, especially VCDS haven't this field because program automatically synch baud rate.
Try to close VCDS,turn ignition in car off, wait some time and then try again.Sometimes HEX know make stupidness, but after disconnect and wait some time everything is fine, this is my experience.

    with respect,
    igorm

    Drsplock,

...also You can try to go to OPTIONS screen and see which value is in field Char Int.If You have value 0 or 1 then try 9,save all and restart VCDS.Don't forget back original value after You finish a job.
I hope this will be helpful to You.

    Hello,
    (sorry for my bad english)

This is for everybody who have problems with matching baud rate with HEX and control module.
I make some experiments with field CHAR INT in OPTIONS screen of VCDS and I want give here my experiences...
Default value in this field is 1 but this NO work every time with every modules.Sometimes VCDS can't synch baud rate between HEX and control module and You can see message on screen "No Response from Controller" same like You haven't module in car. This is NOT true, control modul in car exist but HEX can't synch baud rate with module and can't "see" him.
I have VW Golf V and haven't problem with synch baud rate but many my friends when comes to me with different cars have...So,what is solution from my experince ?
On some Audi from 1994 (TDI) I have problem when VCDS can't "see" no one modules, even 01-Engine.Field CHAR INT was 1 (default).I change value to 9,close VCDS and turn ignition off, wait 10 seconds and rerun all. This time everything working fine.
Before two days my friend with Crafter from 2007 also can't synch baud rate but this time CHAR INT was 9.I change value to 1 (default) and everything working fine...
I write these because I know many people have problem with baud rate synch and this is my experiences with this problem.Of course,Everybody can experiments with field CHAR INT,values are between 1 and 9.
I hope this will help for many members from this forum

    Hello,
my vag-com 6.04 shows "can - not ready" even engine started (Transporter T5 2008). What is the problem? There is a can line on diagnostic connector.

    Hello,
    (sorry for my bad english)

Can You upload some screenshoots from Your Options screen, especially after press TEST button ?
    Note on next :

1.Maybe You have bad Flash+eeprom for 607.3 ? Reprogram ATMega.
    2.Maybe You have problems with wiring (Pin 6 = CAN High,Pin 14 = CAN Low).Check wiring.

    with respect,
    igorm

I can make a screen-shots only on weekend.
Can wiring has been checked. It looks good.
I have read somewhere that T5 does not have can diagnostic at all.

    Hello,

O.K. when You make screenshoots I can give to You better answer. It's not hard to check wiring.Open HEX and check between pin and board.
Maybe solution for Your problem is because T5 haven't CAN bus but I don't know for that.I have Golf V and I don't know for other car.But this is not problem. If You have any friend with other car from VW group from 2004+ You can check Your adapter (CAN line)

    with respect,
    igorm
