Hello guys,
I've a strange problem with china clone vagcom 10.6
The hardware of this clone is the same of tutorial 908 with FT232RL. When I plug the cable in usb port windows xp tell me about driver ! I try to select the VCDS forlder for driver, but it don't find it.
The interface is recognized like "Ross-Tech HEX-USB".
When I try to open the VCDS program, it tell me: "Cable not found Error Code=-1".
What is the problem ? I need to reflash some chip ?

i'm planning to get a diagnostic cable for my 2007 vw gti, i have searched ebay for some vcds interface, i wonder if 409.1 kkl usb good? or some ross tech vcds vag software better?

china 10.60 do not show right DTC codes and text and not show all live data cells

You can do it yourself if you want this
set fuses to

EXT F9
HIGH DC
LOW CD
LOCK CC

It's right config uP for VCDS

I think you're confused!

I am not quite sure about what are you trying to say... but if you want a dump with fuses, forget it. You need to program first the FLASH+EEPROM and then you set the fuses.

Why? Because when you read the dump (READ ALL) you just read the FLASH+EEPROM. The fuses aren't read.

You need to read and program fuses using "Configuration and Security Bits" (on PonyProg).

It is 805 full file 16.6kb and works 100%. Search 908 16.6kb. Pls pony prog (READ ALL) atmega162

Im new here and got a problem. I read the whole thread but didnt find a solution or then I just didnt understand. I have a chinese vag com can bus usb ver: 805.1. The connection with the car works fine but whenevery I try to make autoscan it stops in the same certain point and says that you need to register. Even tho it says that its fully registered. When I try to make long coding it says the same thing. Yesterday I got it working for a while that it didnt say about register in long coding but the changes didnt stay.

You didn't understand, you have bad dump in you interface that's why you can't do any advanced operations, you need to reflash atmega with new dump.

1. Buy original (automatically updates to latest versions)
2. Get latest dumps and reflash atmega (Read whole thread and you'll found how to do that)
3. Give to somebody who have files and know how to do that
