VAG-COM/VCDS EVERYTHING

I have VCDS cable 0x46, old version 11.11, it doesn't on any pictures frim pdf.
At first it wasn't recognized by 17.1.3 drivers software.
Just programmed ftdi with ftprog, then mprog, started cracked software, cracked 17.1.3 asked to update firmware cable, clicked ok, now working ok, at least basic functions. Should this work right without program with external programmer?

Did you test it on a car? Autoscan work ok?

Yes read and clear fault codes.
Autoscan, you mean scan and find diferent ECU's(body, engine, airbag, etc)?

Is not programming at all.
The FW 1.92 is 46kb this FW1.96 is 16kb!!

Firmware has extension .bin so this is raw binary file, not hex.

Just idea for future: codes.dat and .clb + .rod files decryption possibility (encryption is different on every version, which does not allow to merge/edit labels)

Use Kolimer's dump (17.1.3)... see previous posts.

Your tool is very simple to program. Use the "PDF Tutorial" and solder wires in holes next to "7805", rather than direct to Atmega162 pins... These are ways to reach Atmega's 1, 2, 3 and 4 pins.
Are you familiar with wire soldering?

Pins are ways to communicate with external program (I've used USBasp AVR Programer like these: https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale...avr+programmer)
