17.1.3 and 17.8.0 makes problems

I go back on my cabel to flash and eeprom 11.11.5 and all works ok.

You can see for yourself but second one is better. It has GAL and other needed components.

None of them have a diode on the 16th pin. I got a similar interface (links to it below). Bought the protection diode for like 0.03€, soldered it in, flashed 11.11.0. Works fine, as far as I have tested. I don't need much new features, basically just read and clear fault codes and check some measuring blocks. I'm happy with it.

VCDS with PATCH KOLIMER STOP WORKING

Please verify your VCDS with patch v2 from KOLIMER. Yesterday my VCDS stop working... and show in VCDS that is UNREGISTERED. Before all working ok. Yesterday stop working. It stop working on all version 17.8 and 17.1.3
Please verify it.

To me it looks like 11.11.0 is still the most stable version to use

I found only one solution. Uninstall VCDS and delete all directory. Then disconnect INTERNET. Again install VCDS and Copy patch VCDSLoader. Run test and licence is VALID. Then go to Firewall and block output and input for soft VCDSLoader.exe.
After this VCDS works ok and i can enebale internet. Licence is not block.

you found 0 mate, someone told you how to, and i am sure that all users that read forums about vcds know that all cloned keys get blacklisted at some point. This is why Kolimer gave you usb flashing to restore easy your cable.

Do you think that RT does not look on forums?

Hi, Gentlemen,

I have an old 11.11 cable with ATMega of course. I'd love to repair it. Problem is:

Status: Questionable
K1: OK
K2: short to +12V

I've checked the four transistors they seemed to be OK.

Tried to reflash (now 17.1 on it) didn't help. Same error.

Please.... If someone has any idea, I would be glad to hear it :-)

Photos with both sides of PCB.
IF have that transistors, change-it them directly. IF not, replace one with another on similar position. After this movement IF transistor defective, must have K1-short to +, K2 OK.
If not, the problem is in GAL if have (that i asked you photos), atmega, copper tracks..etc

Here are the photos of the PCB. What's the exact route of K2 from PIN15 to ATMega? Tried to swap transistors... No success...
