White dot is circled with red now. From that dot the next red marked pins are 1-2-3-4. Counting the same as I did and going all around chip you will find others pins.

I was looking the white dot on atmega, and i see why i couldn't find it....Thanks..It's much more clear now...and all other pins are visible in tutorial for repairing/upgrading VCDS 805..

Hello guys,
I've a strange problem with china clone vagcom 10.6
The hardware of this clone is the same of tutorial 908 with FT232RL. When I plug the cable in usb port windows xp tell me about driver ! I try to select the VCDS forlder for driver, but it don't find it.
The interface is recognized like "Ross-Tech HEX-USB".
When I try to open the VCDS program, it tell me: "Cable not found Error Code=-1".
What is the problem ? I need to reflash some chip ?

Hey did anyone here try out the super vag-com 10.6 tool from ecutool, whats the quality like? says it works with 10.6 sw but the website only supplies 908. Savage forum by the way, excellent gathering of experience here.

A little update:
Cable is "10.6" (chip is FT232BL). I installed VCDS 10.6 that is supplied with the cable but I keep getting error : "Cable not found Error Code=-1". I don't understand why?

I have this adapter, but I can not see STC chip. I dont know if there is something to remove from PCB to successfully flash this device. Some small maybe resistros are connected to first pins of atmega. What now ? Please help.

This interface is the best. You only need reprogram your cable.
