Or just connect your cable to the laptop and OBD II connectors. Then you'll have 12v power and GND.

Any 12V DC Power supply will work.. just connect:

OBD2 PIN 16 to +12V
OBD2 PIN 4 to GND (minus)


Do I have to use 12V from the Pc Im using, or can I use another 12v dc power, because I cant get it working..?
and I get no Light in my vag 11.11 cabel.?

Progisp says "programmer not found"
do I need a USBASP programmer..?

you can supply it from 8 AA batteries in series if no other way

I dont get any light i my cable when I connect to:
OBD2 PIN 16 to +12V
OBD2 PIN 4 to GND (minus), did also try pin 5
and get this when trying to program ""programmer not found"

is it maby a wrong cable I have

In the thred that I gave you, in link it is written that the VCDS 11.11.0 FTDI 232BL cable could not be updated. You have this cable. But I may be wrong.

I have 11.11 version as well FW1.84 (0x44) containing (ATMAG162+FTDI FT232BL) but it stops on step 6 reporting "Interface not found".
It has been mentioned on the forum that FTDI FT232BL is not support by this MOD.>

I have 11.11 version as well FW1.84 (0x44) containing (ATMAG162+FTDI FT232BL) but it stops on step 6 reporting "Interface not found".
It has been mentioned on the forum that FTDI FT232BL is not support by this MOD.

You can write with EE_Write when you change PID of FT232.. to FA24

You're right. However, I did not have to do it. I seamlessly upgraded my interface from damaged 16.8.3 to 17.1.3, 17.8.0 and now 17.8.1.

What exactly is telling your "Interface not found"?
