1. With 6.3 from kolimer..what version of vcds is working stable?
2. Where I can download that version? Because right now only 18.2.1 is on the web and is not working with 6.3 from Kolimer.

have spanish 18.2.1 working very well on windows10x64 pro with kolimer v6.3

"Problem" is with english 18.2.1 only

Your port test only shows that you didn't connect it to the car (at least not connected to 12v source)

Can someone please upload VCDS loader V6.3 here, the one sendspace seems to contains a virus. (I read a report that sendspace adds virus themselves sometimes)

Yes, it may be detected as virus. Another option is to not use, buy NEC clone or buy genuine.

It is not really a virus or trojan. Is more an "unwanted application". I guess RT submitted the loader to different AV companies to classify it as a virus.

I will compare the checksum, and i guess i can test the loader on an old laptop first.

Edit: Im actually using Kolimers original sendspace link, in his 6.3 loader post in this thread.

Maybe i've missed it but is there some other available link to the 6.3 loader?

you have to make an exclusion on your AV
if not, you can not run vcds

Thanks all, i tried on an old laptop running vista and im able to start vcds with the 6.3 loader. However i have another issue now, my cable is not detected when i connect it to the car. VCDS says interface not found. I have 44 HW, which i have flashed succesfully with flash and eeprom from 6.1 loader. Im running 17.8 VCDS with the 6.3 loader.
When not connected to the car interface is correctly detected in the 17.8 VCDS, (however it says not plugged into car.). Should i try to reflash my cable with the eeprom and flash from 6.3 loader package?

Try to connect the interface directly to 12V/GND and retest.
