VAG-COM/VCDS EVERYTHING

I programmed Atmega, than start 18.2. All went ok till i insteled 18.9. Now i have in test (not connected to the car). I`d reflash again and installed 18.2, but the same problem. What can i do with that?.

Also VAGCOM_HWType shows no response.

One stupid question: maybe I'm from another planet, but I'm using v.18.9 with the loader v.7.0 and have not any ideas, what does "AKP" mean. WTF is the AKP? ))) Don't kick me, guys...

Guys, in order to flash VCDS eeprom, may I connect 12V probe of a power supply (output: 12V 15A) to obd2 PIN 16 and (GND) probe to PIN 5 instead of connecting the cable to the car?
Should I care of the current (ampers) power supply gives at output? Thanks

Connect the vcds via obd on the car and flash ;-)

I Flashed with VAGCOM_EEWriteLang chossing Portuguese - PTT, but when start VCDS 18.9 PTT it is shows unlicensed and unregistered.
Any way to fix it ?

EDIT: I think it works with Loader v7.1. I will test soon. message "unlincensed" is gone

I have the same hw, flashed via usb loader 7 and working fine EN and AKP

7.1 works with latest english and AKP releases. Also updated info and other exe files.
J1 is +5v power to AES chip
J5 is GND to that AES chip

I preffer to extract that AES. Time to time is possible that AES without jumpers work like a "short circuit" and the cable not recognized on USB.

It's ok, i'm testing it on my desk with PC PSU (12v 16A).

Use PIN 4 as GND. It could be connected with PIN 5 inside of cable case but who knows...

LC DON'T work well on 18.9.0 last version 18 oct signed (aka v3). Tested on both hw type.
