Can you repeat it with 18.9.0 PCI and loader 7.2?

Which version of loader are you using with 18.2.1? - 6.3?

OK. I have tried it with the versions ... pci 18.2.1, DRV 17.1.2, DRV 18.2.1 and release 18.2.1. I'll try it with the PCI 18.9.0.
I downloaded the last loader from here. I use progisp and burn VCDS HW 0x46 BB v2 project

Your car..is REALY with CAN?
Time to time loader say "CAN Not ready" especialy at first test. After the second test OR after AN unplug from +12V AND USB say CAN OK but ONLY IF CAN CAR ready.
SO...IF you car not after 2006 car (few 2005 can report CAN ready) you didn't report CAN Ready!!!

If your car is FOR SURE CAN Ready...maybe the cable defective! This only you can know!!!

Not always HW type (44 or 46) is correctly determined by Koli's soft
That because chineses write incorrect version of flask inside Atmega. If chineses (or someone else) write firmware flash for "46" HW inside "44" HW, the soft will report "46" and viceversa. So, the best solution for knoing is to open the case and check the HW by "your eyes"

How would you know which version it is I have opened it up....what am a looking for to determine if it's 44 or 46

I had identical look pcb that had 0x46 flashed by China but in reality it is 0x44 by hardware. But check yourself.

I tested it now with the 18.9.0 and it works. read write and can io. Thank you. I will still write where the dongle came from.

I still have an original lie but is limited to three vehicles. How can I bypass this lock

Hi how did you know it wasnt 46...I've read info.pdf but it say hw44 is connected to gal chip pin 34/35 mine don't look if it's connected so don know it say 46 but now if it's 44 or not.

Doesn't look... you better test continuity with multimeter. Trace can go under some chip you don't see where it comes out again.

You are right it is 0x44 and it is from China getting error something to do with hook or something...randomly disconnect still on Chinese software....what best loader and software to use on this board..using xp.
