I checked 18.9.1 AKP (polish) with V 7.2. "Can" not work.

hello all does anybody have vcds 18.9.1 r1 because i need to update my cable 0x46 i have kolimar 7.2 loader i have looked and i cant seem to find it or if some one could point me in the right direction it would be very much appreciated thanks

Yeep me too. 18.9.1 AKP (Polish) doesn`t work CAN Not Ready with kolimer 7.2. Not sure earlier version VCDS with 7.2 Loader, but works 17.8.0 with Lolimer loader v2

Another things.. vcds hex v2. Doesnt work 18.9.1 ENG with kolimer 7.2. The same issue. CAN NOT READY, but partially works with 18.9.0 eng

Partially means... in example 03-ABS i can't use function BASIC SETTING looks like disabled, another problem is 4 modules example Engine, ABS and 2 cant remember which, vcds show me message like Cant find .ROD file (look picture)

All was tested with Skoda Citigo 2014

I have another vcds but is Can-hex and there i just use 17.1.3 and 17.8.0 software with loader kolimer loader v2 and there work all stable without issue.20190211_162015.jpg

Used the cable for a few moment and got the message/error when I tried to apply a long coding for a modification.

Did flash the cable with Kolimer 7.2 utility but unable to get the CAN bus to respond.

Should I retry flashing the cable ???

Not think so for Flash, probably the point is version VCDS software and Good Loader

Picture is too bad quality.
Does ROD file in balloon has some switched characters compared to UDS_EV directory?
Also, post a pictures from PCB (remove plastic case). This could be NOT-atmega based cable.

Hello everyone.

I am in the need of a new cable after a friend borrowed the computer and accidentally accessed the internet so now my it says my cabel is unregistered.

I have seen someone talking about HQ clone that you can buy and still be able to access the internet on the computer, i think this will be the way to go so it doesn´t happen again.
I only see people talk about the cable but no link to this HQ clone.

I have found two different cables on obd2cartools.com that i am choosing between.

The first one looks like it can be a HQ clone since it says it supports internet, and it also supports updates.

Is the description correct about the fist cable or should i save the money buy the second one instead?

Wow, even Russian sites are full of information how to make HUC work with MY2019 cars,

I have no doubts that in the next version Eric will make corrections to prevent HUC from working on MY2019 cars (this time for sure!), because the interface hardware is "incompatible" in reality, eh?

Right, vcds detects it's a clone. These files are in UDS_EV. Compare it symbol by symbol.
ev_ecm10mpi01104c906020ap*.rod

Now post pictures of your fake V2 pcb and find the "right" version for this cable. It will not really work with latest.

In either case you will need to do a quick reflash (takes a few minutes, no special tools needed) in order to use latest VCDS and loader
