    35 days later someone will come here, post pics of HEX-V2 with really bad quality soldering work on the PCB and ask "why the drivers are not detected"
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    In either case you will need to do a quick reflash (takes a few minutes, no special tools needed) in order to use latest VCDS and loader

    A lot of spam, users come and can not find good information, too many unnecessary posts.

    I think it is China-type hardware, the poor quality clone that can not be used with the Kolimar Loader! I do not see ATMEGA 162!Compare your clone with the images here, you will see by yourself what the differences are!

    Hi Everybody!

    I have found this site searching for info about my VCDS 11.11.5 why she is not showing some engine data showed by newer version (17....)

    I found you guys and you make me very happy!!!

    Many THANKS to @kolimer for his support!

    So, after reading 4 and more days this thread I have made update (even if I did not planned to do today) to my interface and VCDS.

    Even my interface was working OK I was searching for better solution.

    I found here link (with picture guide how to do it):

    https://www.drive2.ru/l/518948048907273121/

    Downloaded VCDSLoader v5.1 and follow guide written by elpaso544 (many thanks to him as well if he is present here).

    First I checked my chips:

    20190323_204353.jpg 20190323_204652.jpg 20190323_204659.jpg

    ATMEGA162 16AU 1236H; ATF16V8BQL - 15SU; FT232BL 731-1; MCP2515; MCP2551; ATMLH236; Even If I am not sure which fuctions they are performing

    I need to mention also the seller from BiH (ABdija........ Sarajevo) who sold me this excellent interface few years ago and worked all the time without any problem (many thanks to him as well if he is registered here and reading this).

    Checked my version:

    Checked HW version:

    To be continued in next post

    Checked VID an PID data:

    20190326_164910.jpg

    Corrected PID data from FA24 to FA20 into VAGCOM_EEWriteLang program

    Followed all instructions as elpaso544 posted and there is result:

    20190326_172040.jpg

    Very easy update, only through USB and connected to car

    One question, can I update it in same way for newer version (18...), without using programmer?

    Thanks for all your posts here, they are very useful!!

    Use the loader on every version of \ / (ds you install.) Search to download Loader 7.2 for older versions of \ / (ds! I do not guarantee that it works perfectly on the latest version!

    Thanks for suggestion, for now I will use this version. It is ok for my car (Audi 2.0 tdi 2011 year), as I am using diagnostic tool mostly for me. I was hoping that I will get Long coding help for recently retrofitted 4C module (for tire pressure control modul 7K6 option - indirect type) but this module is still unknown for vcds, never mind I get synchronization data in address 01 - engine which I could not find on old version.

    I don't think that was necessary

    I kept FA24 in place and everything worked.

    Any pictures with how you soldered the wires to your PCB/chips?

    Regarding VAGCOM_HWType.exe, I think you are not using the latest version, it should display a 4th row with info about Bootloader status, I have attached a picture and the latest version
