I asked you to write everything in one message and not to engage in spam, I receive the goods from OBD in 12 days, with Ali for 25-30. (My country is listed in the profile)
about the cost of delivery there are goods with free shipping, you can have your opinion but why are you then asking for help here and not listening to advice? and now I have to respond to you with flooding unrelated to repairs and problems, I appeal to you personally, stop spamming, trolling - they gave you advice if they are not suitable for you leave spamming on Ali or another store, this is a topic for those who need help and not flood .
It will help no matter where someone bought their cable, and RECOMMEND but NOT REQUIRE where to buy quality.
I do not want to communicate with you anymore, you consider yourself smarter than those who ask for advice![]()

Charges for nothing, you say?
You do understand that chips are being flashed with some version during assembly point, at the stage where chip isn't even soldered to the PCB. During the time while interface is being manufactured, versions change. The requirement to manually reflash involves time and labour, maybe that's why because the charge exists? If you are so smart, you can always buy whatever version is offered and reflash youself, so what's the problem?
As for shipping with +$10. Have you ever heard about PostNL service? With this shipping option your package will reach your hands in 12-15 calendar days from the moment you do the order. Now how long does your Ali package travels? In the pic you attached it's stated that the processing time alone is 7 days and delivery time is up to 60 days. From experience I know that in most cases it arrives after 35-45 days of waiting.
Also, do Ali sellers offer any technical support? No. Once they get your money, you're on your own. Meanwhile OBD2CT folks are active members of the community, helping people with their interfaces purchased months if not years ago.
Finally, go a few pages back where one member bought the same HEX-V2 interface from Ali as in your pic. It was not working, besides, soldering quality was awful. After he realised that he started claiming he bought it from OBD2CT but couldn't provide neither his order number or date nor warranty sticker evidence and finally was unkenneled.
If Ali sellers are so great, why do we keep seeing so many people buying non working crap there and later come here asking for help? Go to the sellers and ask for their help instead.
Moral of the story: buy your interface whereever you want (I bet you spend more money on the cigarettes per day than the price difference but anyway) but please have respect to trusted sellers and don't spread misleading information which you don't even know.

I can calculate ABS module codings for:
* Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
* TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
* MK100;
* Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
* EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
* ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.
1) how is me posting a link to a good cable spam, and you posting a link to a cable not spam?
2) you seem to only promote one website, that seems more like spam (I posted two different cables from two different websites)
3) Calm down. Stop attacking people for no reason
4) I also provided help to others when I could. You seem the only one who considers himself smarter...
5) If you do not want to talk to me, just don't. Do not reply to me saying all sorts of things, as that means you are communicating.
6) Please see my post here: https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...=1#post3532565
I actually recommended the cables from obd2ct. Ok? Some appologies might be in order.

hmm... where exactly I said I am smart, or smarter etc? I did say "they charge for nothing" for 2 reasons:
1) we can reflash to whatever version we want as you yourself mention
2) the ones I linked from other websites already come with 18.9.0 ( I would still reflash to 18.9.1 probably)
3) no, I never heard pf PostNL
4) obd2ct might offer some after-sale support, might be better as you say, still don't see the reason you guys get so aggressive just because I posted an alternative. I actually posted another website that also says they offer after-sales support besides Ali
5) "unkenneled" ? Really?
6) Where did I ever say Ali "is great"? Don't put words in my mouth. Again, so much fuss over nothing...
7) yeah, stop spreading missleading info you don't even know, do not acuse me of spamming, do not say you know I smoke (or ever did).
Jeez...
I have a question that is not really specific to VCDS but it's almost there. If it is considered as hijacking this thread I will apologize and delete the question.
- I want to check and erase the error codes of a control module for the suspension of an Audi allroad from 2002 without actually having an Audi allroad or even connecting the module to a car.
Besides powering the VCDS cable and module with a 12v power supply, what other pins do I need to connect from the cable to the module, to then open vcds software and select the module and read/erase the error codes? Is this even possible?
Depends on version of J197.
But you will get faults back second after clearing them as no sensors are not connected or they are off actual readings.Code:20pin version #5 gnd #15 gnd #16 k #11 30 #2 15 50pin version #1 gnd #2 gnd #15 k #25 30 #49 15 #50 30 [#20 canh, #21 canl] not needed for this
What is the purpose doing this?
Instrument cluster acts like a small crappy gateway in A6 C5 trying to control some ecu's like parkings, radio, etc. It's not real gateway as we know from CAN era cars.

Hello guys can I program the FT232 with ept file using usbasp programmer? If yes, can you tell me how can I do it? Thank so much
FT232 can be probrammed directly via USB. You can use MProg software for that - there is no need (nor possibility) to use USBASP for that.

That cable is a bad bussines for you, next time when you buy another one ask be sure to be with Atmega not ARM like this one. You can not Reflash it.
you are to disabled antivirus and make exceptions in your antivirus
@kaalis and @xoom,
Thanks for replying.
I should obviously have added more info. The reason is that I want to purchase this module for later use and be sure that it doesn't have the dreaded 65535 - memory fault error that is known to kill them.
So basically, I want to buy one, read error codes on a bench instead on having a real car, and check if the 65535 error code is present ( if it is the module is garbage ).
