Hi,

I’m using 18.2 vcds dutch, with loader 7.2
However the antivirus is giving the warning that the loader contains a high risk virus.

Is there another way to get this fixed or is this a fake virus warning?

If you get it from a link on this site, believe me it's virus free, so the warning is fake

Simply just add the L0ad3r file or the whole directory into the antivirus exclusion list.

Is for "pairing" china soft with cable. Not needed in K0l1mer version.

Be sure to remove both jumpers (J1 & J5) to power down that chip. This is also covered in Info.pdf

So, for statistics, suddenly someone will be interested. This problem was made by the combination of VCDS RUS 18.2.1 + Loader 7.0

I bought a cable on eBay a while back and am just now getting around to really trying to use it. It looks to be the same as option 2 from the VIP link here, I checked my chips against the pictures and it matches exactly. I cannot get it to work right. The listing said it was for V18.2. So I tried it with 18.2 and the VCDS Loader provided, but had no luck. I managed to get ahold of V6 of Kolimer's loader and the dll. So I tried that with 18.2. I have gotten the test to work, and it shows activated. However I get communication errors on everything I try to do. I ran VAGCom HWType and got back that I have firmware 1.96 and hardware 0x46. I'm not sure where to go from here, but I am thinking I may be using the wrong software version. I am reading through as many posts as I can, so if I find a solution before someone responds I will let you know.

try downloading the package from this post, its v 18.9.1r1 and loader v7.2

then follow the info.pdf in the loader folders to re-flash the cable and restore the firmware. it worked for my cable, i originally had similar problems when the CD delivered with my cable was unreadable. Dont forget to move the VCDSloader.exe file into the VCDS directory and always run that instead of the original VCDS.exe that gets installed by the VCDS installer package.

There is only 1x 18.9.1 ROJ released. If you are asking for ENG or any other language then be more specific.
