    Hi, I also have a cable so, you say to remove the STC, once removed do you need to make connections? I need to know how to make the change to remove the STC.
    Thank you

    Hi friends

    Here is a feedback experience as promised. I own the V2 with Atmega162 and 2x 9241 "HQ" following the instructions of King ☆Kolimer☆ flashing is ok in a few minutes.

    I wanted to try with the car but i see as a moron that i am not the language FR (i have difficulties with English) i wanted to download in the Language Pack share by Fantomel but it is no longer available "404"

    I think i downloaded the first time but i do not find more after downloading several versions for trial.

    How to add the language FR please ?

    Thank you in advance to all contributors of the forum, you are too strong.

    My respects for you all.

    Hi friends,

    Ok i checked on a Touareg (2005) not CAN (KWP Slow) and everything is ok,
    I tried the 18.9.1, i noticed a gain of 45 seconds for the full scan
    but also a power loss error without having lost the power, whereas with the loader 7.2 it was necessary that the vehicle really loses the power to be seen by the complete scan.
    For lack of knowledge i did not go further.

    Total respect to King Kolimer and all the team DK.

    Hello i reflashed my cable to 1.96 and changed language from german - drv to english (cable versewas 1.96 always) . I tried 19.6.1 ver 5 and loader 8, interface worked but when i tried to do any action communication error pop up. I uninstall the program and i tried to use my old version 18.9.0 (which worked properly in the past!) but i receive interface not found. Is it because of the language change on cable? What version should i use? Do i have to reflash cable or download vcds 18.9.1?

    Let me make an educated guess: reflash and use 18.9.1 + Loader v8 ?
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    One member donated me same stuff for donor/parts. When I opened the case, I scratched my head long enough....
    Bad side: not worth the effort trying to achieve something from it. It's a mutant, neither 0x44, nor 0x46... It's nobody actually!
    Good side: ATmega and FTDI can be extracted and used as spare parts!!
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:

    Hello everyone. I've got an older Dual-K & CAN - USB clone cable labeled VAG11.11 and came across this thread when trying to find out if newer firmware could be installed so i could use newer versions of VCDS. Attached below are a couple photos of the PCB as well as a screenshot of the results when i ran VAG COM HWType. Apparently its got FW Version 1.84 on 0x44 hardware and the bootloader is enabled. It's also got the proper ATMEGA162 and GAL chips as well.

    Is there anything preventing me from upgrading this interface? And does anyone know what the deal with that pink jumper wire is? I haven't seen anyone else post a pic with that wire. It seems to be connecting Pin 7 (ISO 9141-2 K-Line) to a resistor labeled R4 on opposite side of the PCB.

    And lastly, what version of VCDS would you recommend? Its for a 2010 A4 Quattro Prestige.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello everyone. I have chines cable for vcds 17.8.1 (HQ RL CLONE with AES (chinese invention) HW44) - like this on the pictures that i attached down. First of all cabel doesn't work. I resolve that issue by flashing cable using VAGCOM_EEWriteLang and it works on k-lines with vcds 17.8.1 but i see notice "can not ready" (my car have can gateway). And then I was tried to upgrade it to newest version from vcdsloader v8 pack because i belived that resolve my problem. Unfortunately it doesn't work with none of newer version of vcds (i was tried with 18.2.1, 18.9.0, 18.9.1, 19.6) but still working with vcs 17.8.1 . Is there any way to resolve my problem with "can not ready"? Thanks for help in advance.

    Hi
    I have read at least 100 pages and still need to make a couple of questions.

    I have this interface, see pictures.
    I have VCDS 18.9.0
    Bootloader 7, I think.

    Id like to know if its possible to use it with 18.9.1 or even 19.6.0.5?
    If yes, what do I need to do and where do I get the right software etcetera?
    I also wonder where I can find C-test.exe?

    Maybe someone can help me to explain what kind of hardware I have, good or less good etcetera.?

    Im all new to VCDS and OBD2 in general so bare with me

    Thanks for replies in advance

    Regards S

    No, not possible. Better get a quality hardware from the place you really came accross in those 100 of last pages...
