Hi, I have a VAG106 with 232BL recovered with the 908 dump found here, I just bougth a VAG1062 with 232R but for some reason its not saving long coding. Is it posible to dump the VAG1062 eeprom to reprogram the VAG106?

No, everything seems to work fine, adaptation works, Long Coding doesn?t make any changes, this cable only came with 10.6.2 cracked software and doesn?t run on 10.6

The only sw you can use I suppose is the one you just have on your cd that it came with the interface.

Some time ago someone tell us that story but no one could confirm.

By the way... I bought a new USBasp from china and the dump inside ATMEGA8A is different from any other dumps available at fischl.de/usbasp

Hi, I've got the 10.6 cable from China, but after connected it for the first time to the computer straight away I've got message error code 1. Cable doesn't work on XP and Vista, totally crap from China. I looked inside cable and there is FT232BL which is good, and there is not STC chip, so should I only programm Atmega with 908 dump and that's it, or should I programm GAL as well?
