Correct. That's the other one. The genetic one that is harder to find. And that's what obdcarsale got. Board is a bit different. I got sent pictures of it. No high resolution image but it's something.

I think we are after different things. Me personally am not looking to update the firmware or the software. Just a want an up to date offline cable. Being stuck at 19.6.x isnt that bad considering i would have a wide range of cars that i can code from 2005 to 2019. As long as the cable and software is as stable as the 15.7 it would last me a couple of years like my 15.7 cable did. Gotta find one now that actually works.

English bad sorry Vag com 18.9 can I polish my device again? bootler: open running in v12, gives a ready error in the car does not work in the car. The 2018 USB driver looks like 2007. 18.9 I need EN full repair function and don't know if it is hwvx44 or hvw46

Connect your vcd$ to car + your laptop
open/run hwtype and scan your tool- post here results- picture.

The picture you posted above are not clear enought to see what is writen on the pcb parts, so , read / look for Atmel Atmega 162 Au, if you find it let us know.
