    Did it..Works....Thanks...BUT....
Then using FTprog i have programmed it to a "previusly saved file" but after unplugging it and then plugging it again....again says usb serial converter....???What is wrong...Like the drivers are not saved?

After you install the drivers for new VID/PID u must use VIDPIDFix and then u can use FTprog or old Mprog ( I use Mprog).
If it's still changing the driver u must to reprogramm the Atmega.
    Good luck

VCDS-lite 1.0 with your loader shows somehow different fault codes.

All others programs shows identical codes:
    - vag-com 311, registered
    - vag-com 311, shareware
    - vag-com 409, registered
    - vag-com 409 shareware
    - vcds-lite 1.0 shareware
    - vcds-lite 1.1 shareware

All software running on Windows 7 x64 with administrator user and obd 2 cable from ebay.
If you need log files from these programs, I can post them too.

    Hello,

I have a small problem with my cable. The line "Fully Registered / Activated" in the about screen sometimes disapears. And then VCDS thinks it's in shareware mode.

It's a Vag-com 805.1 cable and works fine with version 805.4 on Windows XP. (strangly, this version was included on the cd rather than 805.1).

    Is this a known error?

i know this problem , i can fix it only when i have a computer with this problem in my hand , i tested the loader on more than 10 computers , but i never got the random faults.

    @aminebot

I bought a 10.6.2 cable and the hardware is identical to the photos of your FT232R solution Tutorial, the problem I have is that everything seems to work fine but the cable doesn?t make changes in long coding, do you know if this is a hardware or software problem?

If I use the 10.6.0 cracked software I get a time out message error.

What if, cause of this problem is cable itself and not computer?

you get an error message when you write coding ?
are you sure that you are entering a correct coding for the control unit ?
do you have this problem with short or long coding ?

I dont get an error message, coding is correct, I get coding acepted but when I go back notice there is not change in the coding (I already tried with other modules, same problem) the problem is with long coding, haven't test short coding, adaptation works fine.

set a random workshop number (differente from 00000) in the options window of VCDS , and try again.
