    So, have you connected pcb to programmer already? Which pins are unclear?

    I didn`t do this.

    i thought disconnecting pin 9 could flash.
    USBASP hw version 0x46 can you explain because the instruction shows HW type 044

    Then you have found loader version below 8.0
    See post #8693 and download latest. If links are dead, read along couple pages further.

    Read the Readme.pdf file from the very beginning to the end. Read every sentence. Understand what it says. The material covers everything you need to know and need to do.
    I can calculate ABS module codings for:
    * Continental/Teves MK60EC1 and MK60;
    * TRW systems in Passat B6 / B7 / CC /Tiguan;
    * MK100
    ;
    * Bosch ABS8.2, ABS9.0 and ESP8.2, ESP9.0;
    * EBC 460 (UP!, Mii, Rapid, CitiGo, Fabia, Toledo, etc) New!
    *
    ... and other VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda modules.I can assist with repairing \/CDS interfaces.

    Hello All,

    I have read everthing i have olso the latest boatloder, so i have even tried at the first time with this. i have read hw type so ther for the pictures.
    So the only option to let this work is soldering the usbap conections to the Atmega and MCP.

    So whe the boatloder like my cable is locked you nee to soldering.

    I read olso Programming:
    avrdude.exe -p m162 -c usbasp -e -U lock:w:0x3f:m -U efuse:w:0xf9:m -U hfuse:w:0xda:m -U lfuse:w:0xcd:m -U flash:w:Flash1.96_HW_0x46.bin:r -U eeprom:w:eepromavr.bin:r

    The programmer are not come together with the loader 9,2.

    where do i find this, and is the a instruction how to programm

    Ok, let's make this topic even longer with this unique problem.

    You can download avrdude by googling for "avrdude". Put avrdude.exe and avrdude.conf into unzipped loader archive and run that command with connected programmer. There's even a batch files for 0x44 and 0x46 it (usbasp_write_0x44.cmd and ...0x46.cmd)

    After successfull finish you can use vagcom_eewritelang.exe without programmer and choose whatever language you want because modifying avrdude parameters and extracting eeprom content of other languages could be too complicated for some...

    Hello guys (and girls, if any),

    I have a VCDS cable from china since 2018. I have been using it without any issues. 3 or 4 moths ago, with help from this forum I updated the cable to version 19.6.2 with Kolimer loader. Everything went perfect.
    Since the last update, I retrofitted the RLS on my 2013 Jetta, did some scans, played with the light settings on BCM - everything perfect.
    Now I try to retrofit CCS and I get stuck on the 01 Engine Module - I receive "Request out of range" error when trying to activate the CCS (long-coding).
    On the same module I tried to deactivate "Extended Service Interval" and got the same error. I even tried to press Do IT button with the original coding and I am getting error.
    It seems that long-coding is not working at all on my module.

    This is my Engine module:
    Address 01: Engine (J623-CBZB) Labels:. 03F-906-070-CBZ.clb
    Part No SW: 03F 906 070 JF HW: 03F 907 309 R
    Component: SIMOS10.12AH10 3608
    Revision: --H10--- Serial number: 00000000000000
    Coding: 001900D6230400080000
    Shop #: WSC 00066 123 00189
    ASAM Dataset: EV_ECM12TFS02103F906070JF 004004
    ROD: EV_ECM12TFS021.rod
    VCID: 6FED66BBB69D05374E-803A

    No fault code found.
    Readiness: 0000 0000

    Do any of you have any idea how to handle this? Maybe a Security Code is needed (I was not able to find one).
    Any hint or advice will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you all

    Okay basically Ill just sum up my research / how to:

    #1 Order tool from reputable supplier https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...74#post3575874
    option 2 without usb thingy. I ordered with the usb module due to not knowing any better. You dont really need it, unless you have an older/other cable you want to mess with
    Delivery took 12 days to UK, not working days. Ordered 27/12, dispatch and tracking 31/12, received 08/01, so quite quick during this busy? period.
    #2 while you wait for your delivery find loader https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...=1#post3639906 link 3 works 08/01/20
    #3 download and install vcds from official website or find a version you want
    #4 Once you have the tool heres a video of installation https://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forum...=1#post3574522
    All the files are located in the loader you downloaded in #2
    You can skip video to 2;26 and just do VAGCOM_HWType check and if results match continue with VAGCOM_EEwrite.. flash. Once thats done copy loader into vcds, start VCDS with the loader you just copied and then just test the cable you bought. All was good to go in my case. Researching this took way longer than the actual install.

    Hope this helped some, I sure could used this when I was going through it
