For old model before MQB you can use the hex+can vcds (cheaper)

hex - v2 update
Updated my hex-v2 sucessfully to loader 9.2 and software version 20.4.2 afterwards 100% working well thanks to Kolimer automatic installer option

Maybe the "C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\vcds_hook.dll" is blocked by the Windows Defender or any other antivirus software. Originally Posted by auto techniek

dixonSRB, I bought one of those and works on 2020 cars.
It uses a different loader (no Kolimer!) but worked perfectly on my 2020 car.
